Heart Rate Monitors in Physical Education

Heart Rate monitors are a very good way to make a student become knowledgeable about how hard their body can work and how hard it does work. Incorporating heart rate monitors into Physical Education classes should be a must, not only do they tell the teacher how fit or unfit the student is and with that the teacher can work with them to help build up there aerobic capacity but it also tells the teacher if they are working hard or as hard as they can for the full duration of the lesson. Yes heart rate monitors can be expensive but in the long run I feel that they will be very benefical to not only to teachers but to students also.

Stress
Being a college student can be very stressful time, what with home work, mid terms, quizzes, and not to forget the dreaded finals, all of these in one sentence can be enough to freak anyone out.  I know being a student athlete is completely our choice and we do it for the love of the game we play, but with practices, games, team event, homework etc...it can become very stressful.  Believe it or not there are many ways in which to tell that you are stressed it could be a very little sign to a very big one, either way make sure you look after yourself.  The last thing you want is to be getting stressed, just plan your days out, when you will do your homework, give yourself enough time to complete an assignment, don't wait till the last minute.

English sports incorporated into American Physical Education classes

Physical Education classes in England are completely different to classes in America, being from England, and having experienced both sides of it from doing physical education classes at univeristy, I feel that American children would benefit immensely from it, the classes would become more fun and the children would also become more knowledgeable about different parts of the country. Also i feel that incorporating some activities from American PE classes to English Pe classes would be a good move, I feel like it would help both students and teachers in both countrys.

Multi Sport Athletes in College

Being a student athlete myself I feel that multi sport athletes at the college level should not happen. Being apart of one team I personally feel is enough. Sports are very demanding not only on your body but on your lifestyle. During the season of your sport you probably get one day a week off and that will be classed as your 'recovery' day, so when your season has finished you just want to relax and let your body get the time of that it deserves, but if you are a multi sport athlete this will not happen, surely this can not be good for your body?
